Well, here it is!
Recorded in 2006, released today (2011-02-14). Don’t ask me why.
“Acoustic Movement” is a compilation of guitar sessions that I recorded right after my son Jakob was born. I could describe the music as “ambient acoustic music”. Classical sound but sophisticated on it’s own.
All the songs were recorded without cuts or overdubs, and even if some false notes and a bit of “strange” tuning can be heard sometimes I decided not to re-record anything. All the songs are “first and only take” and I wanted to keep it as that.
As a result, this cd is a very raw release. Not the best sounding record but probably the most honest and sincere music I’ve played to date.
The cover photograph is also mine and it’s part of a research thesis in music and image for the University of Örebro. If you want to hear the music I wrote for this photograph please see the Studie nr.1 on this page.
Well, personally I like this cd so much that I give it for free. I want everyone to have it.
